What if I have unused Dining Dollars?
Up to $100 of unused Dining Dollars will transfer into Quick Cash at the end of the semester. Any Additional unused Dining Dollars are non-refundable. and cannot be transferred to the next semester.
What if I have unused meals?
The weekly plans are per week and the meals do not roll over to the following week. The block/semester plans are per semester and any unused meals at the end of the semester will not roll over.
How do I know if I am running low on funds?
Your balance can be checked on your My Account or Transact eAccount mobile app. At any point you may ask the cashier to check your balances. Your balance also appears on your receipt after a purchase is made.
Can I add Dining Dollars?
Dining Dollars are not reloadable. If you need additional funds to purchase food on campus you can add BU Bucks to your ID card.
Can I use my Dining Dollars off campus?
No, Dining Dollars are for on-campus retail cafes, coffee shops and resident dining halls only. .
Can I use national brand gift cards on campus?
Currently we do not accept any gift cards at our campus dining locations.
Can I treat a guest to a meal?
Each meal plan has an allotted amount of flex meals that can be used to treat a guest. .
Will my meal plan be renewed for the Spring semester?
Residential students’ meal plans will automatically renew, as it is part of the housing contract. However, commuter students’ meal plans run through the academic year and can be purchased at any point until April. Residential students can make a meal plan change through the first full week of classes each semester.
Where can I use my dining plan?
Dining plans can be used at any of our campus dining locations.
